DEAN POLLACK

Dean is a CPA and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Accountants Council in Israel, with over 14 years of experience in audit, accounting and finance and with extensive knowledge of IFRS, US and Israeli GAAP.

​

Dean started his career at KPMG Israel - Israeli office of International Big Four accounting Company, which he joined through their “Elite” training program and later continued as part of the Audit Department. As a CPA, Dean was responsible for audit and tax reporting of leading industry and technology companies and corporations, such as IDB Development and its Holding companies, IDE Technologies, Strauss Group, etc.

After 5 years at KPMG Dean became a Controller at Brill Industries Ltd (large retail public company), where he was responsible for financial statements and tax reports of the Group, evaluation of projects efficiency, consolidation of Israeli and foreign companies, accounting support of valuations, mergers and acquisitions, working with the Innovation Authority of Israel on the company’s Research and Development Reports.

Among his other professional activities is accounting, financial and tax consulting services to Israeli start-ups and companies, including financial and cash management, fundraising activities, business opportunities and markets diversification advisory.

​

Currently Dean is the CFO and the Head of Financial Consulting department at SmartGen Ltd. – an investment and consulting company, which also runs Family Office for its HNWI clients. He is in charge of all accounting, financial and banking compliance for SmartGen Ltd., its HNWI clients and their activities.

​

Dean is the CFO and a member of the Investment Committee at SGF. Among his responsibilities is supervision of finance, legal and operations related matters of the fund.

​

Dean holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Bar-Ilan University.
