MARK OIGMAN

Mark is a professional investor and banker, deeply involved in global financial ecosystem.

 

With over 20 years of experience, he held executive positions both in Israeli and European banks. While working in the leading Israeli bank “Hapoalim” and dealing with international banking, investments, strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions, he led the Global Private banking Center in Tel Aviv, with AUM of three billion USD.

 

When he was appointed Head of “Hapoalim” representative office in Russian Federation, he moved to Moscow, where he was responsible for attracting new capital to the bank. Living in Moscow, Mark served as a Vice President of the Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) and was deeply involved in charity and with Russian-speaking Jewish business community all over the former CIS countries.

 

Further, he moved to Bank Safra & Sarassin in Genève, Switzerland, where he was a Managing Director of Israeli and Russian Federation markets.

 

Currently Mark is the CEO at SmartGen Ltd. – an investment and consulting company, which also runs Family Office for its HNWI clients. Recently SmartGen Ltd. has partnered with E.D Rothschild investment house to create the E.D ROTHSCHILD SMARTGEN ISRAEL MUTUAL FUND, where Mark serves as an exclusive advisor and a member of the Investment Committee.

 

Mark is a founder of SGF – Smart Generation Fund of Top Israeli Funds, where he serves as Managing General Partner and the Head of Investment Committee.

 

Mark holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, an M.A. in Economics from Haifa University, and a B.A. in Economics and Management from the Open University.
