TALI ALUSH-ABEN
Tali is currently an independent consultant, focusing on the Israeli high-tech sector. She is an Investment Committee Member at the Israel Innovation Authority, as well as advisor and mentor to entrepreneurs. In addition, Tali has served as an Independent and External Director for Nasdaq-traded companies, as well as privately held companies and non-profit organizations.
Tali was a General Partner at Gemini Israel funds, a firm which she joined in 1994 and was the first woman partner in an Israeli VC. Her focus was primarily Information Technologies, expanding to include Cleantech. In 2000, she relocated to Silicon Valley to establish the US branch of Gemini, returning to Israel in 2006 with her family.
Tali joined Gemini from RadView, then a start-up software company and a member of the Rad group, where she served as Marketing Director. Prior to joining RadView, Tali was Senior Product Marketing Manager at Sun Microsystems Inc. (now Oracle) in Mountain View, CA, where she managed several software development product lines.
Tali served as the first Marketing Executive for Mercury Interactive Corporation (acquired by HP in 2006 for $4.5B), then a start-up company, where she established the company's U.S. Sales and Marketing organization.
Early in her career, Tali held Software Engineering positions at Scitex Corporation and Aitech Systems.
She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University.
